Function / Content

This series consists of a register of miscellaneous leases. The register was used to record the following information; name of lessee, address, occupation, area in acres, locality, kind, date of commencement, debit (rent, when due, paid to, amount due), credit (date of payment, amount paid on account of rent, amount of penalty paid, number of letter), and remarks. Most entries are annotated regarding whether the lease was cancelled or forfeited.
